Business Activities Rooted in Local Communities

We Develop Activities Rooted in Local Communities through Communication with Community Residents.

Through contact and dialogue with people in the community, we act as a member of each community.
We also participate in activities aimed at developing local communities and culture.

Activities to Get to Know the Local People

JAPC actively participates in festivals, events, and sporting events held in each local town and its neighboring areas. We also promote cleanup activities along the local roads and the tourist spots near each power station.

Educational-support Activities for the Next Generation

JAPC is running a learning support program, JAPC E Study Club (Genden E Manabi Club) -sending out staff to schools as instructors and providing children with educational materials and opportunities to make presentations on what they have learned in class. This program is intended to help children deepen their understanding of energy and the environment.
Workshops are held to learn about the mechanism of nuclear power generation using power generator models. Various experiments are conducted for children in these workshops-e.g. an experiment in detecting radiation traces.
We also provide seminars for teachers on nuclear power generation and work with them at workshops.
